A Raised Fist & A Helping Hand

Pretty breathless stuff today with confirmations of WSO events at legendary Adelphi in Hull, Underground in Plymouth. yet another event in Liverpool (that makes 22! Officially making it WSO Capital of the UK) and positive movement in Bangor where we hope to confirm an event over the next few days. Worth reminding Hull folks too that there is a WSO fundraiser at the Adelphi this coming Saturday from 8pm.

Added to that Joe has been interviewed in every breathing second he has spare and is talking to Niall McGuirk for his Dublin-based radio show tomorrow. We’ll share podcast links when we have them.

Then there’s the truly incredible response from musicians up and down the country. We have been sent a number of WSO-inspired songs over the last few days, all of which have put a skip in our step knowing how much the movement means to you, none more so than this beauty from Steve Roberts, ‘The Dreamers’. The video is on this link:

Lastly, please don’t forget #WSOWednesday! We want you to tweet your current CAUSES AND PETITIONS of choice from 8pm this coming Wednesday. Go to the WE SHALL OVERCOME WEEKEND Facebook group for details….

Back to the magic. GET INVOLVED!
