Well, I think it’s safe to say THAT did the trick! The excitement generated by the launch of our WSO Gig Listing has been such that our Joe has done little other than update and re-update and re-update again all day having spent most of last night doing just the same! It was like being back in those heady days of May and June when every day seemed to bring miracles. Fantastic to see such energy and enthusiasm, and so many new events are landing it is hard to keep up.

Big news too on merch. Right back in May we had a very generous offer from someone who wishes to remain nameless, for a LOT of free WSO merch- badges, stickers, wristbands- and we are delighted to announce it will land in a couple of weeks, just time enough to get it out to our venues to sell on the night for your causes. We need you to pay postage though as we haven’t got a couple of hundred quid to spare posting to everyone. If you want in then message Joe on Facebook and he’ll add you to the list.

Also brilliant to have Folk Against the Cuts (FAC) bringing a couple of their events under the banner for us to co-promote and fight the same battle together. WSO/FAC events are taking place in Gateshead and Nottingham and will feature some STELLAR name in Folk so please support both the gigs and FAC as we move forward.
