A Raised Fist & A Helping Hand

The FINAL total….probably.

Scarborough Badge

At this late stage in the day, with little over a week to go, we at WSO Central believe we may have reached our total in terms of events. And WHAT a total it is. When we first talked of a night of musical protest up and down the country we were thinking we might get 15-20 gigs going. NOTHING could have prepared us for the last few months. That 15-20 events has turned into a weekend of music, comedy, storytelling and all those other wonderful ideas you came up with over

243 gigs

121 towns

8 countries

3 continents.

Nothing like this has ever been attempted before so each and every one of you is making history here. With no template and no money to fund us you have moved mountains and begged, borrowed and cajoled your way through until now, together, we are rewriting the rules, showing what can be achieved through the power of unity and demonstrating to the world that you should NEVER underestimate the power of a good idea.
