A Raised Fist & A Helping Hand

Post-WSO Article on USI Website

The fantastic Union Solidarity International website today published an article Joe wrote in the immediate aftermath of We Shall Overcome attempting to sum up the magic and mayhem and plot a road map for the future. Well worth a read.

We would like to thank USI for their solidarity throughout our campaign. Together with the Morning Star and R2 Magazine, they were with us all the way and were conscious of how important what we were doing would become. Great to have them all at our shoulder.

Fantastic to see a growing number of WSO events springing up in the run-up to Christmas. We have some raising funds, clothing, sleeping bags and blankets for the homeless and some working to create ‘Toy Banks’ so underprivileged kids don’t go without. Just two initiatives WSO organisers are bringing to the table. Good work people.

#WSOW16 is October 3rd-9th next year.

Block off your diaries.
