A Raised Fist & A Helping Hand

We Shall Overcome 2016….and we’re off!!

WSO Hull 2016 Rally Cry

Due to the number of messages with event confirmations, even this early in the year, we have decided to start building #WSOW16 with immediate effect. As of March 10th we have 32 gigs in 13 towns, and thanks to the welcome return of WSO Eugene, Oregon we already straddle two continents. Amazing work folks.

We have started a Gig Guide 2016 on this page:

and anyone with confirmed dates and venues, PLEASE get in touch with either Joe Solo (joesolomusic@hotmail.co.uk) or the Facebook group page for 2016 at:

Our main push will begin in earnest on May 8th, the anniversary of WSO coming into being, and from then on we’ll be nattering in that way of ours and looking to make #WSOW16 even bigger than last year, but we’re loving the above poster from Rich Sharp Wilson currently calling WSO Hull to arms. Top work Rich. Great spirit.

Anyone with any questions, or wanting to offer their services, do not hesitate to ask. WSO is only as strong as those willing to stand up and be counted as part of it. We need you to be that somebody somewhere who does something about it.

Bring it on.
