Christmas Single with The Hatfield Miners

****IMPORTANT NEWS****

Joe Solo has recorded a single with The Hatfield Brigade, an ad hoc choir of former miners and their families to raise money for WSO causes in communities devastated by the destruction of the industry.

The song ‘Merry Christmas From Hatfield Main’ will be available to download on all the usual sites from Monday 28th November.

The idea was put forward by the UK Miners Pension Scheme Association and Joe quickly wrote and recorded a song about Food Bank Britain and the comparisons between now and 1984 when people from all over the world chipped in to give striking miners a Christmas they have never forgotten.

We would appreciate your help sharing and of course downloading the song as together with Peter Stefanovic and sympathetic organisations from up and down the country we are making a push for the Christmas Number One, to not only raise much needed funds at the worst time of year to be skint, but also to put maximum pressure on those in power inflicting this needless misery on hundreds of thousands of families.

Links and videos will follow, but please share this blog and let’s take the country by storm!
